Qigong Translates to "Vital Energy"
The Eight Brocades...
The breath and actions are constantly flowing. They are delicate and sensitive, making them perfect for those with varying skill levels. The movements gently massage the internal organs.
The forms are executed in a horse stance, with a focus on rhythmic, coiling, dragon-like, undulating movements. This is the gentlest and internal of the three Qigong systems.
This is ideal for...
People who like a more soft and fluid Qigong. People who desire to softly massage their internal organs and maintain a flexible spine.
This Qigong approach is ideal for persons who suffer from back and neck pain or have limited back mobility. It is also very beneficial for shoulder mobility and internal organs.
The Five Elements...
This is a staccato Qigong performed in place with five various stances that correspond to the five elements. Each Qigong form focuses on one of the five distinct organ systems and their associated meridians using five different animal movements that correspond to the element. For example, Dragon is the water element and moves like water in a delicate, spiral motion, focusing on the kidney system, whereas Tiger is with the Metal Element and is hard and linear, working on the lung system.
This is best suited for...
People who want a deep, satisfying squeeze, sweat, and feel like they've completed a full-body mental exercise. People seeking a combination of hard activity and meditation.
For those who want to do Qigong in one place. People who appreciate taking deep stances and stretching while building strength.
Animal Frolics...
This Qigong system was created by Hua Tuo, the originator of Medical Qigong. It is the very first Medical Qigong system to be devised. It is based on five separate animal movements that influence the meridians, organs, and bones. It was designed so that you move in the same manner as the element to help that organ system. It has five different species, each with four different forms, arranged in seasons. So there are a total of twenty types. It is the most dynamic of the three Qigong methods, with the most varied movements.
This is ideal for those who want to incorporate walking into their Qigong practice.
People who prefer a diversity of movements and ways to move during their training.

If you're familiar with yoga, you've probably heard about
chakras before.
You know, the seven energetic centres that extend from the base of the spine to the top of the head?
Well…According to the Daoist philosophy, which underpins Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), the internal organs are the primary energy storage and distribution centres.
A large network of energy pathways emerges from the internal organs and flows beneath the skin of the body, from the abdomen to the head, limbs, hands, and feet.
These are known as the Meridians, They control the circulation and flow of Qi throughout the body.
According to Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), our Meridians are rivers and streams that connect to our organs, which are oceans and lakes.
And, just as a clogged river gradually swells and overflows, blockages in the meridian channels impede Qi from flowing properly.
This can cause symptoms such as oedema, inflammation, weariness, poor circulation, pain, and so on.
If the condition persists, it can damage the internal organs, Fortunately there is a simple approach to maintain your energy pathways free and Qi flowing smoothly.

Transcendental Meditation...
Meditation is a concentration & contemplation exercise whereas The Transcendental Meditation technique involves the repetition of a mantra or sound and is practiced for 15–20 minutes per day.
A mantra. Very specific. Sound, vibration, thought. Very specific. It needs to be life supporting at all deeper levels. And that mantra that you're given Is The key that opens the door. The mantra turns the mind Within. Turns the awareness within. And you naturally dive.
Why is it natural? Because each deeper level of mind. And each deeper level of intellect. Has more happiness and the deeper levels of mind, and each deeper level of intellect correspond to deeper levels of matter...At the borderline of intellect.
